Kataro!! Inc. (in preparation for establishment) (hereinafter "the Company") defines the handling of personal information obtained in the course of its business activities as follows.

3. Personal Information We Collect

The personal information we collect includes the following.

A. Information Collected Through the Service

  1. Account information: Email address, password, nickname
  2. Identity verification & payment information: Name, address, phone number, date of birth, bank account information (payment details), identity verification documents (driver's license images, etc.)
  3. Voice training data creation information: Voice data, conversation content
  4. Attribute information: Gender, age, occupation, family composition, other survey items
  5. Usage environment & location information: Device information (OS, model, advertising ID, etc.), location information (GPS, etc.)
  6. Other: Other information entered by users as explicitly stated by the Company, and information provided during inquiries

B. Business Partner Information

Contact person's name, department, position, contact details (phone number, email address), etc.

C. Employee Information

Employee's name, address, contact details, information necessary for HR and labor management, etc.

D. Job Applicant Information

Name, address, contact details, educational background, work history, and other information necessary for recruitment screening

E. Former Employee Information

Information necessary for communication with former employees and statutory procedures

F. Inquirer Information

Name, contact details, inquiry content, etc.

G. Individual and Agent Information (for disclosure requests)

Identity and agent verification information necessary for disclosure request procedures

4. Purposes of Use of Personal Information

The Company uses the information defined in Section 3 above for the following purposes.

A. Information Collected Through the Service (Section 3(A))

  1. To provide the Service (voice recording rewards business)
  2. To provide member registration, identity verification, and login functions for the Service
  3. To communicate various matters and provide information regarding the Service (maintenance, terms changes, etc.)
  4. To provide rewards for using the Service (including point issuance, management, exchange, and payment)
  5. To respond to inquiries regarding the Service
  6. To resolve operational issues with the Service
  7. To create voice training data
  8. To use created voice training data for developing, improving, and enhancing the Company's new services (AI speech recognition, speech synthesis, etc.)
  9. To provide voice training data (*) to third parties such as AI development companies that are the Company's business partners, with the consent of the individual
  10. To analyze collected conversation content and attribute information, create hobby/preference analysis data, and provide it to third parties such as marketing companies with the consent of the individual

* Information provided under items i and j includes voice data, conversation content, and attribute information, excluding highly private information designated by the Company.

  1. To investigate and analyze usage of the Service
  2. To improve the Service or develop new services
  3. To process collected information statistically and aggregate/publish it in a form that does not identify individuals
  4. To provide advertising (including targeted advertising) for the Company's or third parties' products and services

For business execution, business management, various communications, billing, and payment management

C. Employee Information (Section 3(C))

For employee labor and HR management, payroll operations, and welfare benefits

D. Job Applicant Information (Section 3(D))

For recruitment screening, communication, and hiring decisions

For communication with former employees and statutory procedures

F. Inquirer Information (Section 3(F))

To respond to inquiry content

G. Individual and Agent Information (Section 3(G))

To respond to requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of personal information

5. Management and Protection of Personal Information

The Company strictly manages personal information and shall not disclose or provide data to third parties except as required by law or with the consent of the individual. We also implement measures to prevent and correct risks of unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information, taking security into consideration.

6. Voluntariness of Providing Personal Information

Providing personal information is voluntary. However, if necessary personal information is not provided, we may be unable to provide the Service or respond to inquiries.

7. Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling

The Company may outsource the handling of personal information to external parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. This includes use of cloud servers, payment processing for rewards, and inquiry response systems.

When outsourcing, we select outsourcing partners that we determine meet a certain standard of personal information protection, and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision through contracts and other means.

8. Disclosure of Retained Personal Data and Inquiry Desk

Upon request by the individual, we will respond to requests for disclosure of retained personal data, notification of purpose of use, correction/addition/deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, cessation of third-party provision, and disclosure of third-party provision records.

* Important Notice

However, even if a request for suspension of use or erasure is received from the individual, if the relevant personal data has been incorporated into our voice training data creation process or has already been provided to a third-party business partner, it becomes technically and physically extremely difficult to identify and delete such data. In such cases, we may be unable to comply with requests for suspension of use or erasure in accordance with applicable law.

9. Collection of Personal Information by Methods Not Easily Recognizable

The Company may use cookies, access logs (IP addresses), and similar technologies for the purpose of improving the convenience of the Service, obtaining statistical information such as access patterns, and measuring advertising effectiveness. These technologies do not automatically collect personal information not entered by the customer, but are used to understand usage patterns.

10. Safety Management Measures for Personal Information

The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures for the safe management of collected personal information, including prevention and correction of leakage, loss, or damage.
